So this was done well over a year ago when i first started working in photoshop. I was basically trying to work with the paint brush- air brush thingy to paint a picture. It turned out pretty sweet for my first attempt at this kinda of this. I totally forgot all about it till I was scrolling thorugh some of the stuff that I done. Thought I would share it.

Tools: Photoshop CS2 - Mouse

lol couldn't figure out which Category it goes into though. So hope I put it in the right one.

Don't really use Photoshop all that much since started working in Illustrator =P

You will see a new Illustrator pic on the weekend :D

hahaha. Thats hell funny cause I did that in photoshop at the start of last year. I had been using photoshop for alittle bit of time, but not all that much. When I started using Illustrator in the middle of this year I was like 'OMG Illustrator is SOOO much better then photoshop'. Only in the last couple of weeks have I started using photoshop again. It's awesome for colouring. you don't really get textures or anything in Illustrator, it just gives you the shape. Photoshop you can colour it in. Using them together is ultimatly going to give you your best result. Well thats what im finding with the stuff I am doing at the moment. I can't put them up yet cause they are Christmas presents and I don't want people to see them before christmas.

well, i learnt most of what I know of Illustrator from university and a lot of mucking around in the program itself. I just had a look at the popular tutorials here on dA, and they are pretty cool. Even if you google Illustrator Tutorials you find some cool stuff. But i found the best way of learning it is by mucking around with it. So when you do muck around with it, have a end result in mind. Don't try and start with nothing and create an end result. It doesn't work too well. Look at what other people are doing and see if you can create something similar. Orginality will come when you start mixing all your influences together.
